Haiping embarked on her artistic journey during her high school years, immersing herself in the world of painting. Under the tutelage of esteemed mentors Hu Nianzu and Yu Zhonglin, she dedicated several years to mastering the intricate techniques of traditional landscape painting and meticulous flower and bird painting.

Upon graduating from the National Taiwan University of Arts with a major in Oil Painting, Haiping immigrated to Canada. While enjoying a successful career as a professional financial advisor spanning over three decades, her passion for art remained unwavering. Every year, she actively participated in art exhibitions hosted by various painting associations, continuously refining her artistic skills.

Presently, Haiping has been diligently honing her painting skills under the guidance of Teacher Zhang Heng for several years. She explores the medium of ink painting to depict the breathtaking landscapes of Vancouver, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western cultural influences. In her artwork, Haiping skillfully integrates sketching brushstrokes to convey a three-dimensional quality and tactile sense. By marrying the essence of ink painting with the representation of tangible and abstract elements, she aspires to evoke a profound sense of existence in the real world. This distinctive aesthetic and ideal form the bedrock of her creative endeavors.

In the past, Haiping held the prestigious position of President at the Canadian Chinese Cultural and Art Association from 2012 to 2016. She also served as Vice President of the Canada-China Art Bridge Association. Additionally, she contributes her expertise as a researcher at the International Research Center for Painting and Calligraphy.
